I'm completely new to Vision™ and want to understand how to run my first analysis. I've read through the documentation, but I'd love to hear from the community about best practices.

What I'm looking for:

  • Step-by-step guide for first-time users
  • Which modules should I start with?
  • Common mistakes to avoid
  • Tips for interpreting results

  • I've already completed the onboarding process and have my organization set up. Now I'm ready to dive into the analysis modules but want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Welcome to Vision™! Great question. Here's my recommended approach for first-time users:

    Step-by-Step Guide

    1. **Start with Foundation Modules**

    - Begin with the DX Maturity Assessment

    - Run the Universal Business Map analysis

    - Complete the C-Suite Snapshot

    2. **Review Your Results**

    - Take time to understand your dimension scores

    - Read through the insights carefully

    - Don't rush to run all modules at once

    3. **Common Mistakes to Avoid**

    - ❌ Running too many modules simultaneously

    - ❌ Ignoring dependencies between modules

    - ❌ Not reviewing results before moving forward

    - ✅ Take it step by step

    - ✅ Read the documentation

    - ✅ Ask questions in the forum

    4. **Interpreting Results**

    - Look for patterns across dimensions

    - Pay attention to confidence indicators

    - Review both strengths and weaknesses

I've created a detailed guide that might help: [link to guide]

Great thread! I'm also new and found this really helpful.

One thing I'd add: Make sure you have good quality data in your organization profile. The better your input data, the more accurate your insights will be.

Also, don't forget to check out the documentation - it's really comprehensive now with 65+ pages!

I second what Michael said! I made the mistake of running all modules at once when I first started, and it was overwhelming.

The key is to start slow and build your understanding gradually. The foundation modules really help set the context for everything else.

One tip: Use the guided tour if you haven't already. It's super helpful for understanding the dashboard layout.
